Cafe Azafran serves up an award-winning blend of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. Each dish from tapas to our large plates will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Menu is subject to change at Chefs request! We have live entertainment every Thursday!!!!
Located on the ocean block of Baltimore Avenue, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Cafe Azafran has a cozy dining area, with a spacious covered screened in back porch, in order to enjoy the ocean air while you eat fresh, delicious menu items.

The prefix menu was fantastic and the food was beautiful, not only to look at, but also to eat. We really enjoyed the entertainment, which was very laid-back and chill. We had the lamb chop appetizer, the winter salad, the prime rib and spiced duck as well as chocolate bread pudding, and the cheesecake. We particularly like the French songs and the service was impeccable. Our first experience at Café Azafran, but we will be back for sure.

this was our 3rd NYE at Cafe Azafran and everything was very good. Our server was delightful - i won't be able to spell her name, it was Turkish, and it started with an A and she was petite. we enjoy all the yummy menu choices and cocktails

It was their shrimp night specials. My wife had ordered a shrimp dish in a red sauce. The shrimp was spicey hot which she was not able to eat. I had ordered a pesto shrimp dish over penne which was good. The gnocchi appetizer was good. I had requested a specific server while making my reservation which was totally ignored. Our younger, male server was just average as compared to whom i had requested. We enjoy this restaurant and will be back.

We love the menu at Azafrán and always enjoy whichever plates we choose. I prefer to graze on several small plates which we share. That way we get to enjoy several different presentations. Noise level is a bit loud… sound baffles would help tremendously

The small plates were outstanding and included artichoke and crab croquettes, shrimp, green beans with hazel nuts, rockfish, spinach ricotta gnocchi. Butternut squash salad also outstanding

We had walked by here countless times and finally gave it a try. The food was terrific - we had a baked goat cheese gratin with artichokes and olives, and two large plates, rockfish and seafood taragona, a Spanish take on bouillabaisse with delicious romesco sauce. The presentation and quality were top notch, and the portions generous. Short but nicely curated wine list. Service was friendly, courteous, and well timed. The place in tiny - maybe two dozen seats plus a small, welcoming bar. We will definitely put Azafran into our off-season rotation.
