Butera’s Restaurant of Bay Shore is the newest addition to the Butera Restaurant Group. Owners Gary Butera, Martin &Laurie Butera, Nick Zografos & David Novak have provided cool green & white panels, brick, subway tile, marble and original artwork. The decor adds a sleek industrial edge to compliment the tone in the casual, comfortable dining room & spacious bar. Garage doors bring the “outside” in to add to the open, airy industrial look.
The Butera’s kitchen, since it’s inception in Massapequa 1991 to present day Bay Shore , has and still does offer traditional rustic Italian cuisine with a modern flair alongside unique specials showcasing authentic ingredients and locally sourced products.
The Butera’s family relishes the opportunity to begin a new chapter in Bay Shore, and wants nothing more than to serve and delight the community for years to come.

    We typically visit Butera's in Woodbury and enjoy it. So, when meeting friends from further east we agreed to meet at this Bayshore location. The restaurant was fine and we enjoyed the food. We also had an excellent service. But, parking is a big problem, especially on a Saturday night. Lots were full and it took us nearly 15 minutes to find a spot 2 blocks away. Our friends were even further away. For us, this is an issue and we'll be staying with the Woodbury location.

    From start to finish, Butera’s delivered. Our server, Nancy, welcomed us and explained how each dish is made to order. She was friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t hover. The food was delicious! Chicken and shrimp penne aka vodka was creamy and full of meat/shrimp. The crab/bay scallop pasta dish was also in a pink, creamy sauce and delicious. We had to take some home, portions were huge. We’ll definitely be back. Well done.

    Very nice lunch. Service was great with friendly wait staff. We miss the Smithtown location so we’ll head to Bayshore again.

    Buteras makes you feel like family, the owner is present amd engaging and tge service is attentive and accommodating. Excellent food, great Thai Calamari, with many tasty options. Live music is wonderdul, thank you Jimmy!! We love it!!
