   Kevin is the owner of Butcher and Barrel. I mention this because he personally came by our table to check in on us. I ordered the 21 day aged 14oz. steak with mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the pistachio crusted lamb lollipops. The service was spot on and our server was attentive and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of scotches, whiskeys, bourbons and the list goes on. I've never been to a restaurant that checked in on its patrons the way this restaurant does. Will definitely be coming back.

   The food was good but the service was mediocre. I'll give Butcher/Barrel another try because the server could have been new or inexperienced and I hope to have better service next time.

   I took my boyfriend out for his work promotion and the food and service was great! Definitely worth a try!

   This place is now one of my top three restaurants in Sacramento. Food was incredible. Our waiter Josh was the best. He delivered everything hot and fast. First time here and we will definitely be back.

   We had never eaten at this restaurant before and went there to celebrate a graduation. It was a wonderful mix of casual and fine dining! The service was amazing, and every appetizer and plate of food was terrific!

   This is our 2nd time eating here. Kendra was our waitress and she was amazing. She was super friendly. We shared the tomahawk steak and it didn’t disappoint. The steak was full of flavor and juicy. We will be back again

   This has been my all time favorite dining experience. The food is extraordinary. The staff are friendly and attentive and the environment is always welcoming. Thank you for an awesome dining experience!

   Waitress was outstanding. Food good but very expensive and nothing came with dinner but the meat. The music noise level was terrible and we had to talk over each other the entire time.

    We ordered 3 appetizers and our mains at the same time and were told it would be coursed out, we got one oyster each in and our mains arrived. Against all odds both mains were cold and the steak was very undercooked. Even the creme brulee dessert was burnt on the sugar. This was my second visit that I took a date to impress and it will definitely be my last visit. First time was great second time failed in every imaginable way. Our server never even addressed the service hiccups or uneaten food. Absolutely trash do not waste your money. We visited Thursday 3/27
