At Buck & Honey’s, we've taken great care to ensure your first visit makes you feel like you're stopping by an old friend's. We're locally owned and offer a wide variety of traditional fare made from scratch with only the freshest available ingredients.… Great pastas, tender steaks, fresh entree salads, unique specialty sandwiches, critically acclaimed Friday fish fry and our deliciously crispy thin crust pizzas round out our offerings. Located on the Yahara River in Monona, featuring 23 boat slips for boat parking and dock side carry out.

    I had a really great experience at Buck & Honey’s Monona today as I always do. This is my favorite B&H, especially with the trees (birches?) behind the bar. This was winter restaurant week and the menu had beef stroganoff which is not normally available but was great! Service was excellent and I had a wonderful meal.

    Mediocre at best chicken breast with the Chicken Giardiniera. Bland and inferior quality.

    Walleye didn’t disappoint, never does. Grouper special was OK, not great. Top notch service, Melissa is fantastic. Drinks are on pricey side, but overall meal is still a good value.

    Wonderful lunch with my friends from out of town! The food and service was outstanding, and they were very impressed with the restaurant

    We were seated right away. Our service was sensitive to our desire to catch up with those at our table before we ordered. Nice touch. She gave us plenty of time. We never felt rushed.

    Early New Years Eve drinks and dinner. The Monona Buck and Honeys never disappoints. Had a great time. Great food and great service!

    Buck and Honeys has been a favorite of mine for over ten years. There is truly no other place like this. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just magical. Buck and Homeys never disappoints. If you haven’t visited, you must! Whether it’s for cocktails, dinner or a lunch date, Buck and Honey’s is THE place to be!

    It's rare to dine these days where one can easily hear the conversation at the table, even though the dining tables were full. Seafood Risotto, the Giardinia Chicken and the Walleye were delicious, hot, well presented. We'll be back.
