I’m not even sure where to begin…My husband and I were visiting from NJ and decided to take the family out for Christmas dinner as our daughter’s house is undergoing a renovation. Our grandkids are 3 and 7, so family style Italian made sense and Buca di Beppo was highly rated. The service was terrible only second to the food, which was over garlicked and basically just bowls of pasta with little else. After an excruciating wait, the waitress plops our order on the table and runs away. We ordered lasagna and were not warned that the plate was extremely hot. The lasagna was dropped on the table in front of the 3-year-old. My husband went to move it and was severely burned (blisters immediately formed on both hands and he was in extraordinary amount of pain). He cooks regularly and is used to handling hot things, but he said that this was like holding hot coals. It upset the entire evening. He was in pain; the kids were upset and neither the server nor the manager were anywhere to be found. I approached the manager (Antonius Vandermosust) to let him know what happened and he looked at me and giggled. When I asked him for the owner’s information, he gave me a stupid answer that ownership has recently changed and that he didn’t know the new owner’s information. REALLY??? He could tell by the look on my face that I was deadly serious, and his tone changed. He started to apologize and then the waitress saw me speaking with him and joined in the apology. They offered to discount the food, but that was hardly the point. I was most upset about the fact that my granddaughter could have been severely injured and that my husband was. Having dinner out on Christmas is not ideal. I anticipated the service to be slow and the food perhaps not to be 100% delicious. I get it. BUT, what we experienced was beyond unacceptable and completely irresponsible. The manager’s reaction was abhorrible and showed his level of incompetence in dealing with the public.

Food was not good.Chicken Marsela sauce was really thick and didnt taste right.Lettuce on salad was wilty not cold like before .Garlic bread just ok.Spaghetti marinara sauce was on the sour side.Not what it used to be.

Our server Kayla was awesome! The whole experience overall was great! Just wish the pictures taken weren’t so expensive but that’s fine.

Made a reservation here to celebrate my birthday with my family and were very disappointed with our overall experience. Service - 1/5 Staff not very welcoming, waitress wasn’t very enthusiastic or attentive and didn’t provide the same level of service as others such as offering us anything complimentary or asking if we were celebrating a special occasion. Another group comes in, same waitress showed more enthusiasm, offered them complimentary bread on the house and asked them if they were celebrating anything special today. It’s a shame to be treated differently especially with the group sitting right behind us. Food - 1/5 was terrible - garlic bread wasn’t toasted well, mozzarella sticks had a nasty oil aftertaste, chicken parmigiana was hard like cardboard no flavor (seemed reheated), lasagna was actually ok, pepperoni pizza was salty and greasy, fettuccine Alfredo pasta was undercooked and tasted worse than microwaveable frozen fettuccine meals. Ambience - 1/5 smelled like sewer, outdated decor, definitely not a fine dining experience for the price. All in all I don’t recommend this place it’s sad to say but Olive Garden is much better

brown salad, greasy pizza....we told them it was a birthday celebration. They sang to the table next to us, but ignored our bday. We will not be going back. I will be calling OLIVE GARDEN!!!

Our waitress was wonderful, but it went downhill after that. We’ve been eating at Buca for years with wonderful experiences. Had many birthday dinners there too. We haven’t been there in a while and I don’t know what happened but something is very wrong. The delicious bread is different - it’s just “ok” now. The Caesar salad was so bad we couldn’t eat it. Soft, wilted, brown. Yuck The main reason we go is for the melt in your mouth eggplant parmigiana. I saw my husband struggling to cut it with his fork. Then I had a little struggle cutting it with a knife big knife! The flavor was “ok” but since it was hard to chew we ended up just eating the bread dipped in the sauce. And finally the drink tasted watered down. And of course the prices are astronomical. We kinda expected that, since everything is going up, but they are ridiculously high when you can’t even enjoy the food. :-(
