Food was definitely subpar and below average. Seemed very expensive for what we received. Lasagna was great! Service was great!

Wonderful service this evening at Buca. They went above and beyond. Cheerful staff greeting us throughout the evening. Head chef coming out to apologize for one entree coming out later than others (not a big deal for us but he really felt bad about it). Server making sure drinks full and checking on us frequently. Food hot and fresh. We go here every December after Yuletide and the food and service this year was outstanding. Great staff!

Second time trying this place and both times great disappointment. Food taste likes it’s a frozen tv meal reheated… tried lasagna and it was as if someone dumped a whole thing of salt in it. To many great restin Indy to waste time here.

Server didn't have a good memory, forgot a couple of things. For the food it was over priced for 2 quality wise

I def get the family style concept, but disappointed in the lack of ability to customize. I asked for a side salad as I was the only one at my table that wanted one, and that was not an option. My child wanted a kids portion of lasagna, also not an option. Just need more flexibility in today’s world. Also, it’s insane there’s no bread, butter/ dipping oil for the table provided. I’ve never been to any Italian restaurant where this wasn’t provided. Even chai restaurants typically provide bread. It was $18 to order, which we passed on. Overall, average $120k dinner. Wouldn’t reco.

Sadly you enter the restaurant into the kitchen and staff need to get by constantly while you’re waiting in a line just to talk to staff to check in for your reservation. You are kind of breathing on the food and in the way of the poor servers. The place might just need a little reconfiguration. I wish we had gone with a different meal. The lasagna arriving at other tables looked great but our shrimp diablo wasn’t good. Shrimp was under cooked and overall was bland. The drinks arrived after the meal. It was definitely a busy weekend in Indy I hear so perhaps when it isn’t so crazy things don’t seem so chaotic and the food might come out better.
