The Broughie offers three distinctive dining areas. The main restaurant, spacious function spaces and adjoining alfresco courtyard. We also have our unique Irish Bar. All of our menus are created by our amazing head chef...

The restaurant, recently recognized as having the best food and service in the state, offers an a la carte menu that changes seasonally. Our Irish pub fare reigns in the front bar.

Reservations are taken for lunch and dinner in our restaurant. We strongly recommend to book to avoid disappointment.

We decided to treat ourselves with an evening meal at one of our favourite gastropubs last night - and as usual we weren’t disappointed! Promptly seated in a quieter section of the spacious dining area, the Specials observed and the modified menu perused, we decided on a shared plate of Duck Spring Rolls with Davidson Plum Sauce (and a tangy salad on the side - YUM), while I had the Tuna Sashimi Main Course, and hubby chose the Mediterranean Chicken Breast. Since both dishes had ample accompaniments, sides weren’t considered. Both dishes satisfied us, mine especially, both in taste and presentation - faultless! Our glasses of wine also matched comfortably - Pinot Gris for me, Clare Valley Riesling for him. Two very happy customers - thanks to an effective kitchen team led by a wonderful chef and an efficient and friendly front of house team. Watching all of them at work shows just how important they all are to successful operations like this- may it long continue.

We were celebrating my husbands 80 th birthday. The table setup for 8 was perfect, a large square table in an alcove made it a lot better for conversation. The service was spot on, and all our meals were delicious. Pricing was good for the quality of meals, all in all a lovely restaurant we will definitely be back.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted and made comfortable. We had been serviced and yet a young ladie asked if we had been tended to.. Outstanding customer service! The restaurant is so clean and very nicely decorated. The food!!! Wow. So so good it feels like an insult to say good! So outstanding! So happy and satisfied to have chosen this restaurant as our first stop in Bendigo this year!! We will be back!! Stop by and check them out!!!

Barramundi was a bit overcooked but didn’t detract from the overall meal. Enjoyed by all and service was great. Good wine list

Awesome pub vibe. Great drinks on tab. Plenty of variety in the section. Great place for a few mates for dinner and a couple of beers. Also got a table service for a family or a more formal occasion with the restaurant. Pricier end for a scotch steak but absolutely worth it. Plenty of more affordable options to please everyone. Huge portions. Lamb is fantastic. I’ve been twice this week! I am at out of towner. Monday is quieter more relaxed and Thursday, Friday is a busier vibe

We are only giving 3 stars for service as we were given an incorrect drink and meal. Once we received the correct meal, Nasi Goreng, it was really nice, and the Duck Spring Rolls were excellent. We've dined at the Brougham Arms a couple of times and the food has been really good. We could go back again when we're visiting Bendigo.

We had a ladies luncheon, the food was delicious and service was 10/10 we all had different meals and they were all impressive in size and flavours. It wasn’t busy but all the waitresses were very attentive and fun.

We were looking for a quality meal, in a quiet locale where we could talk and enjoy the food and wine... and we found it - together with a waitress on her 1st day on the job and she did a marvellous job. We'll be back!

As usual, fantastic service and very high quality food. They have remodeled since last time I went . Pork 3 ways was well done, flavorful and filling. The shoulder was a little dry but when mixed with the sauce and the excellent vegetables was fine. As usual, the fish dishes were excellent and the bacon and potato croquettes and duck spring rolls were wonderful. The only real down was my wife's steak was over cooked (well done instead of medium-well) and was unpalatable. (Granted, medium-well is always over cooked, but that is just my opinion). Generally the steaks here are fantastic. Definitely with a visit and definitely great food.
