Brother Hubbard Ranelagh is delighted to host “Yves” – a delightful evening offering of light bites, sharing menus, wine and some cocktails – all with a French and Spanish twist! As well as offering our own delicious wines, we are excited to offer Bring Your Own/BYO for wine and beer (a corkage fee applies) – which is particularly excited as we are located next to Redmonds, one of the finest off-licences in Ireland. We are open Thursday, Friday & now Saturday evenings across the Autumn and Winter months. We offer a la carte dining as well as a special “Feast” sharing menu. We can cater for all main dietary requirements. Booking recommended.

Staff were really friendly but was really disappointed overall. It was very quiet, nearly empty. And the food just wasn’t great. It was fine but was something you could cook at home. We were full at the end at least but it just wasn’t anything special. I expected more as brother Hubbard is quite nice.

The shared feast was posing as great value but was actually a lot of weird combinations that you wouldn't order. Tried almost everything on the menu. Nothing to write home about

Lovely venue, food very good, wine a bit limited but what was offered was good. Service very good. Shame this lovely restaurant only had 9 diners on a Friday eve. Not sure how many it can accommodate but certainly around the 60 plus at one sitting. Hence ambience rating- it was basically empty. Felt for the staff who were charming. Perhaps the rugby match had an impact!

Superb food as always, great cocktails & attentive service. I loved that the wait staff asked between each course if we wanted to take some time before the next course arriving. I often feel a bit rushed in restaurants but this was great to be able to dine at our own pace without watching the clock. Would highly recommend the pork belly which was delicious. The feasting menu for 2-3 is amazing & there is no need to order any additional dishes. Highly recommend!

Really nice setting, open and spacious and tables are not too close together. Food is delicious, you have the option of sharing plates or having your own. Food is modern classics with a french/Mediterranean/middle eastern vibe

Lovely restaurant and food - great location but disappointing to be asked to leave around 10.45 when we were enjoying the end of our wine.

Portions are quite large even with the pre-starters/ snacks. We really had too much food, although it was all beautiful, so I would recommend a snack followed by a main! The atmosphere would greatly benefit from table lamps and candles so the harsh room/ general lighting could be turned off: felt like we were in a canteen rather than a French bistro!
