    As a native Chicagoan, now living in the Caribbean, I listen to a local podcast (City Cast Chicago) regularly. I've heard them mention Bronzeville Winery on a number of occasions and decided to check it out while in town for my birthday. The first thing that impressed me with the hospitality (kudos to front of the house) and the energy! I was reminded how much I love House Music (excellent DJ). The food was excellent! I enjoyed the Creole Salmon with pasta; my date had the shrimp & grits. I though that the wine pairing with my meal was spot on. Thanks again to the team at the Winery! I look forward to dining there again very soon!

    My Mom, best friend & I had a fantastic time here. The staff was particularly inviting, warm & the vibes of the restaurant were so nice. I will definitely be back. Calvin made our experience amazing & I can’t wait to return! Highly recommend.

    Food and service are on point! Great spot for a fun date (I was on a date) or small group experience. Food prices are reasonable but drinks are comparable to a swank downtown or north side spot.

    Brownsville winery was very beautiful. The ambience was terrific. The music was incredible. However, the food and wine left a lot to be desired. I ordered a surf and turf medium well on the steak instead I got an overcooked very well done steak. I also ordered fried shrimp they gave me grilled shrimp instead lastly, I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries. They gave me mashed potatoes instead They were gracious enough to take the steak off of my bill and replace the potatoes with fries in the grilled shrimp with fried shrimp, however the wine selection for a glass at $35 was a bit high.

    We waited two weeks for our reservations for Valentine’s Day and the day arises and it was a bad experience. The gentleman that brought us water was rude. Slammed a bottle on the table and treated us as if we were not there to be served at his job. Our waiter tried his best but was a little slow. My food came out incorrect and then I had to wait roughly 20 minutes to get my food while my partner sat there and ate. The steak looked like a IHOP steak the lobster purée I don’t believe even had lobster in it. The price for what I got in food and service did not live up to expectation. I will not be returning here.
