We went here for Thanksgiving and had a reservation. They took us to a table that honestly looked like they added last minute and then it took over 20 minutes and a trip to the host stand for us to get a server to even get us water after the servers in the surrounding areas avoided eye contact with our little table. They must have been down a server because it seemed like the manager was helping us out and he was very nice. The soup was delicious and super hot but the turkey entrees came out warm/ cold in spots which was disappointing considering it was pricy for what I can only describe as elevated cafeteria food. The turkey entree was just ok, the turkey was a little salty but the portion was nice. Someone in our party tried the halibut instead of the turkey dinner and they liked it and the temperature was good. The desserts were very nice. Overall I don’t think I’d go back because for $55 I was expecting a bit more. The photos are also a little misleading, we were basically in the lobby of the hotel and the vibes were off.

Food is great. We went for Thanksgiving. Service and food were prompt. Valet parking at hotel was easy and free with ticket validated from restaurant. It was clean and neat. The dining area was low light. Excellent experience.

This is an excellent choice for pre-theatre parking and dining. The Westin hotel valet service, attendants are courteous and helpful about how things work there: free parking during dinner, $10 covers theatre time, pick up afterward, all seamless The restaurant has a bit of off-the-hotel-lobby feel, but in a good way. Varied menu to satisfy any appetite, delicious food delivered promptly, nice bar, and wine selection. There are police/security very closeby, it feels safe - there are homeless people more toward the theatres (who we brought our leftover pizza to), but even that did not seem dangerous. I would choose this again, for pre-theatre and/or overnight.

The place needs an immediate upgrade. It’s ugly. How it can be part of a Westin is beyond me. The food was decent. The service was very professional. The place needs a decorators help.

We ordered the carne asada nachos, watermelon and feta salad, short rib tacos, and apple tart. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of flavor each savory dish had despite not being overly salty, which we appreciated. We were a bit disappointed at the dessert - it was fairly bland and unimpressive, but we’re willing to try a different one next time. Jessica was our server and she was such a delight to interact with. We hope to come back soon!

A plesant dinner surprise for hotel dining. Excellent pasta dishes huge portions and exceptionally good service. Chacuterie at the bar was a real bargain for $20 Breakfast was disappointing

Excellent service and great dinner stop before a show at the Balboa Theatre. $10 valet parking (5hrs) with theater ticket and dinner at Bronze Bird. Great drinks and shareable dishes. Definitely my choice for dinner/show evenings!
