    The service was just terrible. Took drink orders for only half the table and then left. Took 30 minutes to get a cocktail and then she did not bring 2 of them. 15 minutes later we asked again about missing drinks and she just told us the bartender was really busy. Luckily no one wanted a second one. Almost left without taking the entire tables food order. Then several orders were wrong- cluster. Had no idea who ordered what. Just really bad.

    We were seated at 12:15 (reservation time) and did not have a server approach our table until 12:40. We placed our orders with the server before she even got our drinks, and were told at that time that not only was there no bread today, they were already out of salmon. Very disappointing. The food that we did order, however, was delicious.

    My reservation was for 4pm. We were seated at a table near the door, but had to move because the tablecloth was dirty on the table. Our next table was on the opposite end near the kitchen and the birthday lady didn’t want to seat near the kitchen. After being seated a 3rd time, we were satisfied. After dinner was over, I watched a waitress use her fingers to place a patron food in a to go order container. She had been using a fork and I’m not sure why she thought it was okay to push food down with her bare hands. I was done after I saw this because how many other times has she used her hands in someone’s food.

    Brio, as a company needs to be more imaginative on gluten free. This isn’t a new concept. Ordering the oldest and least edible type of gf pasta means a baby food mush under their wonderful sauces. So much effort with the rest of the menu. Spent over $300 with tip for two people. Happy to do that. When the food quality matches the price point. Jovial is an Italian brand of gf pasta that is made in every type from spaghetti to tagliatelle to lasagna and it holds up like a conventional pasta. Any restaurant calling themselves Italian has the burden of living up to that. Even an inexpensive brand, Barilla will hold up better than the awful corn based fusilli they are likely ordering from Sysco. Do better. We won’t return until you do.
