The food was out of this world. Some of the best I've eaten at a local Huntington Beach restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon, and it melted in my mouth. The sides were tasty and creative as well. My dining partner had a salad so fresh it tasted like it came straight from the garden. She also ordered the confit duck sandwich. She said the ciabatta bread was deliciously fresh, but cheese was added to the duck, which is already a rich, fatty meat. The cheese with the duck was too much. Next time, we'll order the sandwich without the cheese. The service was exceptional. Prompt, friendly, and efficient. The biggest problem was that the room was extremely cold. We both had to keep coats, mufflers, and hats on the entire time we ate. The manager said that it was as warm as they could make it.

The service was excellent and the food very good. The atmosphere is lively yet not overwhelming. We had the cauliflower and Brussel sprouts which were good. My wife loved her short rib and polenta dish. The flatbread was just OK. Would like to dine here again and try some different items.

Brightwater is our new go to place. Food is fabulous, ambience with lighting and live music Thurs through Saturday is fantastic.

We tried a variety of food from the menu and all were outstanding. The pork belly Brussel sprouts were the best. The halibut was cooked to perfection. The mushroom toast and flat bread pizza were delicious and perfectly seasoned. Our server was great and knowledgeable about the wine and everything on the menu. The chocolate cake was the perfect ending to the evening. It was a treat to dine at Brightwaters where everything was beautifully presented and do delicious. We will return soon. Thank you for a great evening.

First time and we were not disappointed. I had Short Ribs over Polenta and my wife had Salmon. Both were presented beautifully and both were very good. We will definitely go back.

Brightwaters was a delight to dine at, the food was delicious, and the live music of Luke and Kaylee was so fun! The service was superb and just the whole vibe there was great! We had charcuterie, the meatballs, the smashed potatoes, and a salad, along with some delicious Malbec wine (The Seeker). We will be back!!
