We have been to Bridgette Bar before and it was excellent! This time was sadly not even close. The food has gone down hill and the service was subpar. We arrived early before our reservation to sit and have a drink at the bar. The hostess said the bar was full but would text when a seat came available. We waited an hour and no text. We arrived to see what was going on and the bar was empty. Our server didn’t seem to know the menu very well and was quite slow. Staff need better training. It was a very disappointing experience and we wouldn’t go back.

Our table was not ready when we arrived early so we sat at the bar for the last half hour of happy hour. The bartender explained that all drinks are 1/2 price. I ordered a vodka martini made with Stoli and extra olives. They were out of Stoli which they normally stock and our of olives. I know that it is Christmas but how difficult is it to go down the street to buy more vodka and olives?? I expect more from a high end restaurant. The fennel and sausage pizza was very good. So the happy hour bill at the bar was $150 for 6 drinks and a pizza. Not much of a deal IMO.

Bridgette Bar in Canmore is an incredible dining experience! The food, service, and cozy ambience are top-notch, with the fire pit in the center adding a special touch that truly made us feel the Christmas season. To top it off, the staff surprised me with a thoughtful birthday card, making my birthday lunch even more special.

The steak and chicken were both phenomenal. The garlic bread was also a hit! Service was a tad lack lustre for a higher caliber restaurant. I really have no complaints otherwise. Food was quick and we had a fabulous time. Would do it all over again but oder the fondue, we definitely messed up not ordering it the first time. Ooh also, don’t miss out on the chocolate pot de crèam

Tiffany took excellent care of us and was very attentive and made our evening fun ! Our friends had the delicious Spiced Beat Salad. And one of my personal favourites the Maple BBQ Rainbow Trout. My wife and I shared Grilled Lamb Saddle which was tasty & juicy Lamb Medallions. The sharing plates or dishes is such a great way to go ! Another fabulous evening at Bridgette Bar.

Happy hour pizza and cocktails are amazing. One of our favorites is the 'Rolling Canoe' paired with the fennel pizza.
