Everything was great, the service was great our server David was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious and worth the price. The only thing is it got a little loud but it's going to be if it has a bar inside. Also it was so dark inside. Lol the lighting was so dim some people Including my mom used her phone flash light to see the menu. Lol other then that it was great!

I had an amazing time, the view was beautiful and the people were very nice!! The food was very delicious, 10 outta 10 would recommend!!!

Our server (Eddie)was terrific--fast, knowledgeable and attentive. Meats were delicious BBQ (brisket, pulled pork and pit smoked chicken) while the creamy slaw and seasoned green beans were very tasty. The house salad left a bit to be desired while the baked beans were too sweet for our tastes. Mojo salad and pulled pork sandwich were equally good. The place was very busy and noisy but had an ole' south barroom charm if there is such a thing!!!! Would return.

Brick City has a great atmosphere and a great vibe and so much potential for good food. The barbecue is OK but unfortunately, the side dishes are very lacking. The macaroni and cheese was mushy, the collard greens were not cooked enough so they were still bitter, but sweetener was added. The coleslaw was too wet with mayo and the baked beans tasted like they were canned and just added more mustard or brown sugar. They didn’t seem like they were freshly made, and they were in no way unique. Such a huge opportunity for good food, but I feel like we could make better at home on a Sunday afternoon.

We were seated immediately but did not get waited on until we asked the Hostess for service. Took a long time for drinks, soft drinks had to be asked for 5 times. Food was lukewarm and the bacon on burger was inedible. Had to ask for to containers several times and checks had to be reprinted due to credit card mix up. Too loud can’t hear anything in there.

I wish I remembered the name of our server (Young man, glasses, dark hair.) He was attentive, knowledgeable, and very personable. He made helpful food recommendations and each was spot on. Overall, we loved the food and the ambiance. Parking, however, is a nightmare in that area.

Such a cute little place with amazing whiskey and a great menu. So happy we visited here. Going back for our last night of vacation

I went in alone as I was traveling on business. It was a slow night, but the staff treated me as if I was a regular, very attentive and friendly staff. My server was extremely knowledgeable and made valuable suggestions The fried chicken was off the chain I grew up in Alabama, and this was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had If you ever in downtown Ocala go here it is worth it

I read the reviews and thought I was coming to a down home place....I thought this was a Southern BBQ restaurant but what I got was pseudo Southern...the collards were not tender and needed seasoning, the stringbeans were the same, the ribs were also a bit tough....I am used to fall iff the bone abd these were not..finally they had runny banana pudding!!! Not sure who was cooking but it wasn't a Real Southern 🤔

Food was good, but strictly Barbecue. Generous portions. Whiskey bar disappointing to the extent that there was no whiskey menu. Our server was not that knowledgeable about what was being offered, so my husband went over to the bar to speak with the bartender, whose response was “ what proof do you want and how much do you want to spend?” Not all that helpful when you have Whiskey Bar in your name.
