Nestled in the charming and historic town of Boonsboro, Maryland, Branded Chophouse is a gem that offers a dining experience as memorable as its picturesque surroundings. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere of elegance, with beautiful lighting and a thoughtfully designed interior that sets the tone for a wonderful meal. We began with a dozen oysters, which were truly exceptional--some of the best we've ever had. The pickled brunoise'd red onions and what seemed to be a homemade cocktail sauce elevated this classic appetizer to new heights. While the oysters rested on a bed of seasoned pink salt that felt slightly indulgent, I couldn't help but repurpose some of that salt throughout the meal--it was that good! The salt-rimmed margaritas were another highlight, boasting a perfect balance of flavors. My only wish was for a slightly larger serving for the price. Moving on to the main courses, the Branded Cowboy Burger was a standout. Cooked to perfection, it was bursting with flavor and undoubtedly one of the best burgers we've enjoyed in recent memory. Paired with truffle fries, the meal was decadent. Though the fries were a touch soft--likely due to the truffle oil--their flavor more than made up for it. The Prime Rib was another hit, tender and flavorful, complemented beautifully by a perfectly seasoned Au Jus and a tangy horseradish sauce. If I had to nitpick I'd just request that the plates be a bit bigger so I can move things around to include the sauces and sides. We ended the meal with the Dulce de Leche dessert, which was simply fantastic--a sweet and satisfying conclusion to a delightful dining experience. The service was equally impressive. Our server, Brock, was attentive, personable, and ensured every aspect of our meal was top-notch. In summary, Branded Chophouse offers a fantastic culinary experience in a beautiful setting. My son and daughter came in for the holidays I wanted to take them to a steakhouse and I like to support small businesses and not franchises . Had reservations at 6:45 so when we got there, I wanted to order a ribeye and my son wanted to order a prime rib. The waitress told me that they had no bye, but they had the big cowboy cut by that I didn’t want that much and I wasn’t gonna pay $65 for that I asked for a prime rib. She then came back and said I’m so sorry. We are out of prime rib now granite this is a steakhouse. How in the hell can you run out of steak? The prices are very expensive anyhow for what we had. The waitress was good however I paid $172 without Tip with tip it was 200. I will not come here again, which is a shame and they are lucky. They got two stars

The service on New Year’s Eve was outstanding! Jacob, our waiter, was friendly, engaging, and welcoming. We never felt rushed or hurried in order to turn over the table. The chef personally came out to let us know they ran out of lobster tail early in the evening and offer an equitable substitution on the house. We politely declined not because we were not interested in the substitution but because we understood the situation and greatly appreciate the time and effort of the who staff at Branded. We will definitely be back!

First time diners and enjoyed our experience. The calamari was delicious. We enjoyed the old fashioned and our server was great.

During our time having dinner, there was only one waitress working the entire restaurant. As a result, they were slow and attending to our request or orders. Other than those two items, the experience was just a little over par. It is unlikely that my wife and I will return to the restaurant.

Atmosphere was good and quiet enough Food was just ok and we felt not worth the price that we paid. Most likely won’t go back

The bartender was great , the drinks we good . The only good thing about our meal was the asparagus and cake . To be named a chophouse the steaks need to be better. We ordered the ribeye and the steak was a half in thick and dry . As a beef farmer the meat was terrible and should not be served at a chophouse.
