The service was wonderful, five star worthy. The drinks were lovely, the truffle fries were great. However, this is a chop house. So it is to be expected that the steaks are great as well. As someone who has gone to quite a few chop/steak houses, it was extremely underwhelming. The cooks did a great job cooking to temp, but the flavor was of plain meat and charcoal. There was no hint of salt or any positive flavoring. It was extremely disappointing and not worth the money that they charge for the steak. We typically go to Chop House but wanted to try something new and I greatly regret it. Again, everything outside of the main dish was great. I wish the steaks had flavor other than charcoal. The waitress was great and very attentive, drinks were delicious, and fries were good. I hope our main dish was a fluke and this isn’t the typical taste of their steaks.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner! Perfect wine pairing with the tomahawk steak for two.

Came to visit our son and daughter in law in Grand Rapids and we're treated out to Bowdies. The filet mignon was excellent and the Chef offered a rack of lamb that was out of this world. The bartenders Mannie and Rian were phenomenal and made us several different mocktails as we both dont drink alcohol. The lobster mac is a must as well as their Brussels and pork belly.

This was just the place we were looking to celebrate a quiet NYE together before getting married. Wonderful service, fantastic food, looking very forward to our next visit!

Service was solid. Ordered their best steak and was very disappointed. Been to Bowdie’s a dozen times. Great job on everything except the steak. I do NOT think it was prime beef.

We shared a Caesar which was ok. A bit flat on flavor. But, the entrees were amazing. I had the 10oz filet and my wife had the salmon. The brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes were both delicious as well. Highly recommend!
