The Turkish food you'll come to love is expertly handcrafted by our experienced chefs and their culinary teams. While many of our staff have Turkish backgrounds, it’s the quality and authenticity of our food that truly define us. At Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine, we prepare each dish daily using only fresh, never frozen, Halal meats. We use the freshest vegetables and the most authentic Mediterranean ingredients, many of which are imported directly from Turkey, in our dips, salads, and sides.

Wide variety of choices for vegetarians!! Drinks are exceptional! Waiters are very friendly! This is our favorite sit down restaurant in South Tampa now!!

Great staff, great food! I have a gluten allergy, and the manager, Brandon, came to our table and went over everything with me. The food was amazing, and I, most importantly, did not get sick. We've been to their locations in Orlando and Winter Park, and the food is consistent. Looking forward to the opening of their St. Petersburg location and Sarasota. Always a great experience!

Wanted to try this new place as I like Turkish cuisine. The food was ok, flavor wise not as authentic as I have tried before. Restaurant ambience was nice tho and the server very friendly.

The service took long 40 min wait for food. The server was extremely great! It was Friday night. The food I had was very bland. I am a New Yorker and I have been to many restaurants. Needs more flavor for Turkish food. The manager extremely knowledgeable and courteous! ☺️ Overall it’s a nice ambiance! Happy 2025

Our server, Umit, was top-notch. He spent time talking with us about the menu and making suggestions. The food is delicious and flavorful. The manager stopped by our table to review food allergy items (as I’m gluten free). I felt safe with their knowledge and prep. We will definitely return.

This has been one of the best restaurants I’ve been to here in Tampa. I’m also a very picky eater and everything from the appetizers to the entrée and dessert were phenomenal. The drinks were spectacular. My husband and I found a new favorite restaurant in the bay area.

After three visits to Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine on Howard, we have decided not to return. We loved Bosphorous in Orlando several years ago and we missed the Turkish restaurant in Ybor that closed even longer ago. Bosphorous does several things right, but ultimately the food has little taste and is too small in quantity. From 5 to 7 is happy hour and drinks are half price. On Sunday, they offer the regular menu and the lunch menu. Items on the lunch menu are cheaper because the quantity is cut in half. We learned that Bosphorous has been purchased from the original owners in Orlando and is in the midst of rapid expansion. This expansion has seemed to push ‘lightening up’ the tastes to appeal to more people. We enjoyed the lavas bread with babaganoush. The white bean salad and zucchini patties were too bland. The mains seem terribly overpriced except for the whole grilled sea bass. The amount of meat on a doner kebab order or as part of the mixed grill for two was ridiculously small. The rice pilaf overflows on every plate and is tasty.

This could be a very good restaurant… but the portions were not generous, for example veggies that we ordered extra for their combination appetizer came with 3 tomatoes slices and 4 slices of pepper … and the bread was burnt . We were 5 women so we ordered a variety of foods and shared. Great potential but just off .
