   Our evening out with friends was great. The sound level was such that we had no difficulty with our conversation all night. Despite a very busy place, our server was attentive. We all had the YYC Food Experience offering. The 3 course, fixed price menu was delicious and great value for money. Borough continues to have a great wine list with very nice wines for less than $60!

   We enjoyed an early dinner and had what we thought was great interaction with Raylyn our server. However after our mains arrived, she disappeared. And the restaurant got busy. We were happy for that as we enjoy Borough and know it’s tough at the moment. We had to ask the server with a large table beside us to help get our bill. We still waited and I could see he had to go get the floor manager. The plates were finally cleared but no bill. Another 10-15 minutes. Finally we got our bill and said we didn’t know what happened to our server as we hadn’t seen them on the floor in over 30 minutes. We didn’t want to keep the table knowing it was getting busy and we had an appointment to get to. We thanked the manager and got up to leave and then our server came from the bar area. Clearly she’d been reassigned but nobody had taken over our cover. We know it’s a glitch, but I do hope it doesn’t happen to others.

   The YYC experience was very good. The appetizers and Alberta Duo was on point. It is sometimes hard to get seafood perfect in a land locked province. It is surprising however, that the food presented for YYC experience is not available on the everyday menu. Too bad.

   We've ordered YCC menu and overall the food presentation was very good, yet the beef quality is disappointed if it names "Alberta Beef". Also this course's sauce is very salty. For service, I've booked 2 persons but the Receptionist asked us whether for 4 when we arrived. Our drinks arrived after 20 mins we ordered. Our apetitzer and dessert have to wait for 15 to 20 mins respectively. The main course was served but our apetitzer plate was not cleaned up yet and no cutlery for the main course. On that night, the restaurant was only half full with at least 5 staffs in dining area, so the service team has to look into your operation. Thank you.

   My husband and I dined here last night, and while the food was good, the experience had some drawbacks. I had the YYC Exp 3-course meal, and he had a pasta dish. My first course was flavorful and well-executed The beef duo in my second course was underwhelming and arrived lukewarm. Dessert was light and enjoyable. The pasta dish was average from a flavour perspective, but did come out nice and hot. Our server was good, very pleasant, but overall the service was on the slower side (from a kitchen standpoint) even though the restaurant was not that busy, but the biggest issue was the seating. The wicker-style chairs at our table had small round, hard seats with minimal padding, making them quite uncomfortable for a full dinner. The restaurant does have other seating options, and I would definitely request a different table next time now that I know. Overall, a decent meal - not outstanding, and seating comfort is something to be mindful of when dining here.

   First visit and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere and we all loved our food. Here for the yyc experience. Busy place but we were well taken care of. Had a great time. Will be back very soon.

    I ordered the three course special for the month of March. I ordered my steak rare, it came medium and it was a grisly piece of meat and hard to eat let alone enjoy. Our server never asked how our meals were or I would have mentioned it. Not sure I will return.
