Reservation was for 7, they sat us around 7:30. Id say 5/10 things we ordered we would again croquettes, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese were really good. Our server was very nice and took good care of us. The only thing I will say was we asked the bar to make a tequila espresso martini and were told “it would take a while” because they batch all their espresso martinis which is odd bc its literally a Spanish restaurant. Anyway good vibes just like a mid experience.

We made a reservation to secure a quiet table given noise sensitivity. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant - by the kitchen at a communal table of 6. When I mentioned the reso type, I was invited to wait for the next available table. Why did I make the reso? The drinks were weak. The table service was professional. Our pulpo dish - which we assumed was forgotten, was delivered just after we received the check. The manager is intense and unfriendly. We lived in BCN for 5 years and our son was born there, so the menu brings us back to a special time in our lives. Wish the environment at Boqueria reflected the warm welcome we received from BCN.

Loved the place the food and the service.. the only reason I did not give 5/5 stars to service it’s bc food took too long to arrive. But waiters were amazing

Fun place to spend Christmas Eve. Very good food. Dined at the bar. Despite some initial confusion as to whether we would be allowed share the Chef Special it was a delightful evening So much food - it’s definitely shareable!

Delicious food and drinks, very warm and welcoming staff and ambiance and the kitchen is fun to watch if sitting at the counter! The seafood paella, shishitos, Caesar salad, patatas bravas, artichokes and blood orange mocktail were are wonderful. I will be excited to come back and try the carrots, octopus, other salads, Escalivada and lamb skewers. Thank you for a lovely evening, happy holidays!

This place is to Spanish tapas what Olive Garden is to eating in Italy. Had an across-the-board disappointing experience (with the exception of our waiter, who was excellent). Ordered the charcuterie board: the micro-thin slices of manchego were outdone by the laughable thumbnails of blue cheese with the rind still on it. Nearly inedible. But what really was inedible were the bacon-wrapped dates — if you could call them that. I’d call the fire department. They were burned behind recognition. I’ve seen mummy fingers at the Natural History Museum that looked more appealing. (Our waiter took the $12 price off our bill.). Then the food delivery. We had split a bottle of wine, but out of boredom we drank most of it before our other dishes came out. It was more than an hour to deliver the shrimp drowning in garlic and the oddly rubbery and slimy at the same time octopus tentacle. Sadly, the only good thing we had was the grilled cheese sandwich they named “Bikini.” Just a weird experience. This one is inauthentic as a tapas restaurant and sadly, I had a bad enough experience to write this. Many more restaurants to visit in West Hartford. It won’t be this one again.

My party enjoyed some new and interesting taste experiences Alonso (I believe that’s his name) our server was an excellent host. The carrot tapas were delicious. The salmon entrée was a huge piece of well seasoned fish. We all enjoyed ourselves
