We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Highly recommend. 5th time here, never disappoints. Great service from Charles - attentive and a great attitude. Clam chowder is the best in Denver. We went for Happy Hour (even on a Saturday), and Mussels, Mahi-Mahi, sushi roll - ALL perfectly done and very tasty. My wife is in love with the Guava Cosmo. Our Go-to spot in Lone Tree. Yes, we will be back.

The raw oysters and the curry mussels were fantastic. We also enjoyed the shishito peppers and the scallop wrap. All in all, an excellent meal. It is kinda pricey but the quality and taste of the food made it worth it. They also offer a $.99 cent oyster deal after 9pm and we plan to go back.

The food was excellent! Sushi, oysters and shishitos were all amazing. Wine was very reasonably priced. Service was great! Only thing I would change is getting rid of the table top advertising, which makes it appear more like Red Lobster than the fantastic place it is! (Just put them in with the menus!)

I wish I could give a good review, but it’s not a good restaurant. Let me start by saying I just found out it has restaurant violations. That said, you will pay a lot for their food regardless of cleanliness. Overpriced, mediocre food. The owner Sean H does not want negative feedback. I say, then lower my expectations by lowering your prices. Then I find out about restaurant violations. When this restaurant closes, I will not miss it.
