   Appeared to be short staffed, both servers and kitchen staff; orders for our table of 6 were incorrect and food was cold. i would not recommend and certainly would not return

   We had a great experience the first time we came here about 6 months ago. This visit was not as great. Our sever never checked back with us after she took our order. We were constantly flagging her down. Even when she walked right by our table, she didn’t even look at us to see if there was anything we needed. Tortilla soup is delicious but came out not quite hot. Other food was likewise good. The hostess seemed to cover our table half the time and just seemed annoyed with us. The food really was pretty good, but lack of attention in an almost empty restaurant was not a good look.

   Always good food. Service was wonderful. The short rib cheese crisp is a must-get menu item every time.

   We had chips and salsa, spicy marg with pineapple and jalapeño and a glass of wine, all good. Ordered the “street corn” off the cob and found it to be drowning in mayonnaise and that is all you tasted. Ordered the carnitas with black beans and rice. It was good but not amazing. Pork had a good flavor. Rice and beans were good. Had the chocolate cake for dessert and it was very good - not too sweet.

   Let’s start with the fact it was a Wednesday night and there were tons of open tables. Service was beyond terrible. Walked in and waited a good 3 minutes until the host greeted us. Took at least 10 minutes get water; another 10 to order; another 10 for our cocktails to arrive; and a ridiculous 45 to get our our TWO entrees. Our server noticed me peering toward the open kitchen and eventually sauntered over to our table to let us know our order would be served shortly. Our frustration nearly reached the boiling point as we could see our dinners sitting under the plate warmers. After watching our food sit for at least 5 minutes - our average portion, mediocre tasting entrees arrived. Seemed like a great option and the spot looks cool. Too bad the rest of it will cause us to avoid this place in the future.

   Hello Jay, Let me start by appologizing for the dining experience you had at the restaurant last night. And even more so, as I was the manager on duty during your experience. We never want our guests to have slow, unattentive service and to have that followed up with medicore tasting food. Base off of your reservation, I know where you were seated in the restaurant and who your server was. The feedback you provided will help me follow with our service staff and kitchen staff to ensure the proper steps are taken in the future to ensure that this does not happen again.     We ordered three appetizers to share and two main courses. We love to bring home leftovers so we always over order. We sat at the table for 25 minutes after ordering, and then all the food came at the same time. We wound up packing up most of our appetizer dishes while I was sitting there,  I wondered why a bowl of soup and a Caesar salad salad took 25 minutes. By the time I finished my soup, my fajitas were cold and I should’ve sent them back.  the value wasn’t there either. My chicken fajitas were $24. My regular Mexican place serves chicken fajitas with bacon added, which is delicious approximately twice the quantity for $18.  No excuses. The place was primarily empty at 8 o’clock on Friday night, but my server was very busy rolling silverware instead of paying attention to me. In fact, after signaling that I wanted to get out of there, the server brought me the ticket and then it took him 10 minutes to pick up the credit card that was sitting on top of it. I didn’t try to talk to a manager. I was too disgusted. We won’t be back.
