We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

    Make sure to inquire about your departure time. The staff will come and sit at your table and inform you when it's time to leave, although they may do so in a less-than-friendly manner, so be prepared for that. Please note that the prices for the food are determined by the dishes rather than the service quality.

    Atmosphere was perfect, staff are very relaxed and attentive and food was spot on ,chop sauce is special….thankyou,we will return

    We were totally blown away by the quality of the food, this place to my mind is now beating Hawkesmoor for the quality hands down and what's so great is it's doing it at half the price. The service we received was first rate, and they went to great efforts to cater for a vegan friend in our party. The atmosphere was great even at 2pm in the afternoon, and I for one can't wait for my next visit. Thanks Blacklock, you made my friend's birthday and exceptional one.

    Blacklocks signature "All In" for 2 people was great value, it came with the light starter followed by chops laid on fresh garlic flatbreads with 2 sides (we had the beef dripping chips and beets&curd salad) it was delicious and filling. The service was fantastic, friendly and accomodating staff, we celebrated my husbands birthday, the staff put us a birthday banner prior to our arrival and surprised him at the end with a birthday pudding which topped the afternoon off. I would highly recommend this restaurant

    My experince of blacklock this time was just as good as all the previous times I have attended if not even better! My message for my food request wasn’t read until I arrived meaning the steak I preordered was out of stock but the amazing Josh, saved our anniversary meal and made our evening one to remember. BIG SHOUT OUT TO JOSH! Thank you all for your amazing service and making us feel comfortable.
