The food was amazing, I wish we were able to try every single thing on the menu. And the service….EXCELLENT. Can’t wait to go back.

We made a reservation for the evening that was not honored. We were met with a cardboard sign that said the restaurant was closed and someone inside sweeping who wouldn't give an explanation as to why. The door wasn't even locked. This could have been handled more professionally.

This place was awesome. It's quaint and friendly like you are at home. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. The food was top tier. The fried chicken was excellent, light and crispy! It's a cute spot to grab something to eat with your friends.

The food was so good me and my girlfriend were talking before the food came out when the food came out we stopped talking macaroni and cheese was good collard greens tender chicken fried just right like your grandma the fried pickle had the nerve to be good sweet baby Jesus fast BUSSIN

My little sister and I had a great experience at Black hen. This was our first time in a free birthday celebration for her. Shae was our server and she was wonderful. So we are all of the other ladies. We will be back!
