Welcome to The Black Dog Bar & Grille! We pride ourselves on amazing food, good drinks & exceptional service.
Start off with with one of our signature appetizers and don’t forget to pair it with one of our tasty specialty cocktails, 16 draft beers or canned craft beers. Follow it with one of our juicy hamburgers, gourmet salads, sizzling steaks, seafood, chicken dinners or indulge in something from our 12 hour slow cooked BBQ pit. There was NO appitizer of DEEP FRIED STRING BEANS WITH GARLIC DIP ON MENU.?????? was told they no longer offer them.. this was a STAPLE of Black DOG very unhappy to not have that option any longer... My Concern was the Thursday 'special' Chicken Pot Pie... The top of the pie was a circular DISK pastry that was baked 'separate' from the pot of chicken in a cream sause that was filled with potatoes mostly very small amount of meat .. maybe 6 small pieces at most .. The seasoning was lacking.. and worst of all it was "WARM" not even 'oven hot' .. the top pastry 'disk' could be lifted and put to the side if you wanted.. It was not how a POT PIE should be. The serving sizes of the Kelbasi, pulled pork and Brisket .. were very skimpy for the price increase.. not happy about that at all.. The rolls were served COLD with the regular honey butter. The Pepperoni pizza was looking good.. but all the hype of a PIZZA oven.. left that look deceiving as the crust on the bottom was not fully cooked soggy.. Pizza oven from Italy should of cooked that pie !! The savior of the night was the CHICKEN WINGS appitizer as they were very tasty and full of flavor.... When asked for Celery and bluecheese to eat with them was told they don't have Celery ... ??? Baffled at that. The server was great .. she was very attentive and sweet... HIGHLIGHT of night . So to say that it was great would not be true.. it seems that the Black Dog has changed. or is it the CHEF ??

We were seated in a porch area with many large parties. We were a table of 4. Very very noisy and we couldn't hear each other speaking. Once the table of 20+ left in got somewhat less noisy. We are requested a table in Marley's Pub but nothing available even with a reservation.

This is one of my favorite restaurants by far, a little further drive, worht it every time. Their food and service have always been good, always trying something new.
