Food was absolutely delicious and good portion sizes, however, when we arrived (6.30) there was a singer and it was way way too loud, booked to have a meal and a catch up with my friend and we could hardly hear each other even sitting right next to each other. Some people came in and left because of the noise levels. Totally unnecessary - we would come back because the food and service was great - but I'd check first that there is no live entertainment on!

There was 8 in our party , everyone could not find one thing wrong with our evening , everyone’s food was outstanding as well as the service, the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere , it was lovely and clean , it was my birthday and they went out their way to include that , highly recommend your restaurant

I met my friend for a catch up and she suggested Black and Red restaurant. Although it was lunch time it was fairly quiet. My friend chose the pancakes and three fillings and I had the Egg Royal which was delicious. A muffin with smoked salmon and poached eggs on it in hollandaise sauce togetherwith some salad. The eggs were perfectly poached, the sauce complimented it and it was very tasty.
