I arrived for a 4:30pm Saturday dinner reservation at 4pm and had a drink at the bar. By the time we were seated, the restaurant was getting very busy. Our servers were very attentive and helpful. I had a chopped salad and the snapper. The food was perfect. The servings are generous; I took half of it to go. I was disappointed that they only had one appetizer and one entree special that night. While the menu is diverse, I do wish they would add a tuna entree. It was an enjoyable evening and we look forward to returning.

Have not been to Black and Blue in several years. Overall, was disappointed in the food quality and service. The crab and lobster dip appetizer was the highlight. Steaks were average, over cooked and did not serve what was ordered. I ordered a filet and was served a Bistro steak. Server was not customer centric with options, but “graciously” did not charge for the filet. Lackluster service and average at best food - will not be returning anytime soon.

Waiter wasn’t that warm & welcoming. Food was underwhelming this good round and took forever to arrive. Our appetizers came out cold & needed to be sent back initially. Once they returned they were better. At the end of the meal the waiter realized it was our anniversary and offered us complimentary dessert. Overall the food & experience was a 6/10 which is disappointing b/c we usually have a great time dining here

A reliably excellent steak house. The 7 oz filet, done medium rare, was perfect. Bernaise sauce and a pair of scallops were the crowning touch. The red snapper was good, but not great. Service was superb. Wine list adequate but expensive. Worth an occasional splurge, just for the steak and the service.
