Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. I put in the reservation for a party of 12 that we wanted the double bone pork chops since they always have very few or none even though they advertise having them all day Sunday. This is in my opinion the best item on the menu. They called about 10 minutes before the reservation and said they just noticed and wouldn’t have any ready for another hour. They were out of rice pilaf and the steamed broccoli was almost raw. We ended up having the prime rib and it was lukewarm warm and bland. BJ’s used to be one of my favorites, but they have gone down over the past year.

We went to BJ's on a holiday. It was too hot for a bbq and their food is better than anything we could have cooked. Party of 8 and the service couldn't have been better! Appetizers, mains and desserts were awesome and our server did a great job of refilling drinks. Thanks, BJ's!

There were a lot of options for food & our waiter (I wish I could remember his name!) was wonderful! Great service, great food, but my favorite was definitely the dessert :) If you’re in Lafayette it’s definitely a good spot for food!

They did not even serve us, we sat for 15 minutes and no server at all. 6 people were sitting and talking at the hostess stand and no one ever came to us. If you are reading this to dine there. Please know that the food is delicious and their drinks are normally fantastic. I’m just talking about my one time experience at this restaurant. I will go back because it is a good restaurant but my experience this last time was extremely disappointing

I asked the waiter if they had Latte coffee. He said no only regular coffee. Later I saw on the menu they did have lattes! We had about a 45 minute wait for our food but he did bring the children’s food a bit sooner. One of our group ordered steak and an extra of garlic butter. His food was served without and it was a small portion. Two of us ordered fish and chips. They forgot to bring the chips on one plate so we had to ask for them. The fish and chips was served on what looked like a small metal baking tray. Not very appealing. There was so much batter on the fish and it all had a very bitter taste. Overall the food was very disappointing. The manager took the fish and chips off our bill. Food is very mediocre and service slow. I would not return.

Our first time dining here. Huge menu that is moderately priced. Great drinks. Reservations strongly suggested during peak hours. Plenty of parking.
