Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. We arrived an hour and a half before we had an appointment to get to. Every aspect of food and drink service was terribly slow. At the hour an 20 minute mark our food came out we asked for boxes immediately, to place our desserts (that came with our meals) in for in for to go, and the checks. After asking we were stilling waiting for another 30 minutes to be cashed out and get our dessert. The servicer did not seem to care we were late even though we let him know we were in a hurry. He never came around to pick up dirty plates, or refill any drinks. In the car we ate our dessert, mine was under done and the other was not edible as it was completely burned.

Brunette hostess was rude about a small easy ask to be seated a little early when restaurant was not busy, saying she would closer to actual reservation time, then ignore followup and sat us late. Waitress was very nice.

We have enjoyed BJ’s in the past. Tonight we enjoyed good food but the service was not good. Our salads arrived after the entree. The drink that I ordered also arrived very late in the meal. All of this made it not an enjoyable experience tonight.

Service was fast and friendly; crispy chicken sandwich was large in portion while the brioche bun added to its satisfaction; fries and a rather large creamy side of cole slaw accompanied the sandwich. Good lunch all around.
