At Bivio our passion is authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Napoli... our love of the city, its cuisine, and in particular, its pizza is where our story began. We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. At Bivio all of our dishes are made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

it's a small restaurant and seating is tightly orchestrated by the staff. it seemed to us that the pizzas before the pandemic were better.. the almond cake and ice cream were good -the cake with too much cinnamon however we had a nice time overall and the small staff was very pleasant.

The best Neopolitan pizza around, the dough is amazing. We had the Marinara and Margarita pizza with an Arugula salad, everything was delicious and the service was terrific!

Small and cozy spot with super friendly staff. The pizza is probably the best you’ll find in NJ—simple, yet absolutely outstanding. Just an all-around great experience.

Bivio is the best pizza in Montclair. The venue is super small and only open three evenings a week so reserve way ahead of time! The pizza is next level and the appetizers and salads change often. Just go!
