    Josh and Emmanuel, and the host greeting/seating us were all very nice. Everything was great, but I did notice I had been charged for a splash of soda water in my wine, making it almost £10 for a medium standard white wine. We did also have to wait longer than usual for any orders to be taken, otherwise great as usual

    The restaurant accommodated us really well and wasn’t an issue we were a table of 11. Waitress was very attentive from start to finish and the food was quick to be received and very tasty.

    We went for breakfast. The food as always was very nice, and so were the hot drinks. The drinks could have been warmer.

    We had an issue in that there was a very long wait after our starters had gone, and diners that had arrived significantly later than us were being served with their mains. Raised the matter with management, who were very apologetic, as was our server subsequently, and we were not charged for our starters as a gesture of goodwill. It’s always been fine when we have been there previously, and it was good of them to make that gesture, so won’t be put off returning there.
