I love Bewleys but Unfortunately today they stretched themselves too thin and seemed to struggle with the mothers day rush. As always the food was excellent but the service left alot to be desired. After waiting 30mins no one had been near us to ask if we wanted a drink so we went looking for a server, after another 25mins we got our drinks and after an hour and a half we finally got our food. Our waitress was less then enthused when we mentioned our disappointment and id go as far as to say rude and unprofessional. As i said i love Bewleys and i will likely return but hopefully improvements are made in the meantime to improve the service side of things.

Slow service & ordered more tea because we were waiting so long for our afternoon tea and got charged. Other tables who came after us received their food first. Food was lovely once we got it!

We’ve previously always had a wonderful experience at Bewley’s, so this review is an anomaly in our experience, but todays Mothers Day afternoon tea was very disappointing. We expected a lovely experience for our Mum, I’m not sure what went wrong but it was all very chaotic. All credit to the very lovely staff who seemed to be trying their very best, but we had a very underwhelming experience. We arrived a little before our 12.30 booking and the staff seemed surprised to see us! We waited longer then expected to be seated, and then to be served - though at least we were served, others who arrived with us gave up and left as their food never arrived. A very disappointing experience this time at a high price point!

Had booked a table for 4.30. Table ready at 4.40. Waiting 30 mins to be served. Not even a drink Food was cold. Had been reheated but was dry and cold. Not good..

Terrible service, waiting 20 mins to be seated even though we had a booking and then another 50 mins to get our afternoon tea! Then they put a sevice charge on our bill!!

I booked afternoon tea at Bewleys for Mother’s Day (based on internet reviews). Unfortunately while staff were friendly, the service was really poor (waiting 50mins to be served the food). The savoury offerings were also poor while the sweet offerings were marginally better. Given the cost, I have had much better afternoon tea elsewhere. A disappointing experience unfortunately.

The food and drinks were excellent and Pablo took wonderful care of us!!! He was so friendly and gave us wonderful advice for a day trip.
