    I think readers will get tired of reading all the good reviews we offer for Bennett's. However, we do want to mention our server, Lauryn, was lively and prompt, as well as note the New York steak and the Walking Fool red blend wine were excellent. But, this time, we'll state the reason for the 4 stars for 'ambience'. Someone decided the mood for Bennetts' diners should be low-level lighting, and dimmed the overheads. We had just ordered and our eyes had adjusted, but the just-seated couple in the corner were forced to bring out their phones for better lighting. Say something? Yes we did, but nothing changed.

    Service was very slow towards the end of our meal. We were dining between 7:15-8:30. After 8:00 service really declined. Not sure why we still had the same server & there was less customers.

    My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals. He had the short rib enchiladas and chicken tortilla soup which he loved. I have a lot of allergies and the waitress was very helpful and attentive. I had the salmon with sauteed spinach and a salad. All very good!

    We were celebrating our daughter and son in law’s 15th anniversary. Jade was our server and was amazing!! Made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant!! It was a fantastic experience!

    Lively dining experience with booths for large parties which are reminiscent of mid-century restaurants like Original Joe’s. Food was elevated bar and grill fare with an emphasis on prime cuts of beef. Happy Hour menu was ample with many shareable, entree, and drink options. Overall it is a great family/group dining experience.
