A small, cozy neighborhood restaurant that serves Northern Italian food in a welcoming ambiance. We are chef-owned (chef Omar Lavayen) and operated & pride ourselves on using locally-sourced produce. Bellissimo offers a diverse menu featuring seafood, homemade pastas, veal, filet mignon & and homemade desserts, to name a few. Think about homemade lobster ravioli in a champagne cream sauce melting in your mouth with a delicious glass of wine! Have a sweet tooth- end the meal with homemade tiramisu or dark chocolate mousse w/ a touch of frangelico. We offer a full bar and extensive wine list. *Bellissimo also serves gluten -free and vegetarian options and are open to dietary restrictions.

It was a lovely time, and nice that there was free parking just across the street. The service was attentive, and the menu had a nice variety. A great place to have nice evening out.

This is a delightful small restaurant specializing in northern Italian cuisine. It is welcoming with murals on the walls, tables with linens and sparkling glasses. Food service was very good and the food was delicious. Restaurant Week made it a bargain, too. Parking garage is about two blocks away. We were there for an early dinner so it was not crowded and noise level low; I imagine it can be noisey when the restaurant is full. Definitely a restaurant to return to!

We were a party of 6 and I was the only one who had previously been to Bellisimos. Everyone loved it and although we all live in Haymarket, we do hope to return!! Everything was plated beautifully and was delicious!! Be sure to try the sausage and polenta appetizer-outstanding!!

An enjoyable Saturday evening at Bellissimo. Although almost full, it was still a pleasant, quiet dining experience. I highly recommend the Mozzarella and tomato tower as an appetizer. We have been to this restaurant many times, but it was my first time trying this particular dish. It was presented beautifully, and it was very flavorful. I also ordered the Scampi Bellissimo. I have found my new favorite dish there, and will be back for the Scampi Bellissimo again soon! My husband ordered the Veal Scallopini and said it was prepared to perfection. He has tried each of their veal dishes over time and he says each one is excellent. A very satisfying and enjoyable visit, as usual!

Bellissimo is a small upscale Italian restaurant in Fairfax city. We had a very good time there on a Friday night. Excellent service and excellent food. Staff is courteous and attentive. Appetizers, salads and entree's all excellent.
