Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. The menu features healthy meets delicious options, and is known for its iconic coffee and bakery counter, including signature cookies, in-house pastry favorites and our house blends from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, featuring Light, Dark, Espresso and Decaf roasts.

We hosted a brunch for ten. The food ordered ranged from eggs to pancaked and waffles to the honey chicken sandwich. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. We were seated at the front on right side of restaurant at a round table. No one was crowded and we could all be heard when we talked. This area seemed like we had our own private room. Would definitely return and recommend.

Mocktails were outstanding. Definitely recommend the straight A salad-refreshing & delicious.

It was very busy at 12:30…service was as quick as possible with the crowded restaurant.i always enjoy the food there. This time the burgers were more of well done than medium but other than that it’s my place to go for a quick lunch with friends.

We had brunch on New Year's Day. Everything was delicious. I had the baked apple and blueberry oatmeal-amazing. A large portion to share or bring home. My partner had the Migas egg scramble and added grilled tomatoes. He said he'd have that again. Service was top notch.

First time here for our New Year’s Eve dinner for party of 4. We were seated right away according to our reservation. Service was prompt, very efficient, from the moment we sat down, to appetizers, main dish and dessert . We were done from 6:15 pm to checking out at around 8:00 pm. Would recommend this place , very nice ambience.
