My sea bass was beautiful. Oysters were deviance. Cocktails were creative and fun. My wife's veal chop was not good. Ordered medium rare and it was way well done. And it is fried in a batter. We were a groups of eight and seven of us did really well Won't order the veal again.

Food is decidedly mediocre but it is an attractive restaurant (very lively on a Friday night) and the service was friendly. We ordered the tuna appetizer and it was very bland. The main courses of salmon and the pasta special were better but not enough to make me want to revisit the restaurant again. Can’t fault our server at all - she was very friendly and attentive.

I had a free night on Oakville with four work colleagues and Beacon fit the bill perfectly. The Old Fashions I drank were prepared expertly and my steak & frites entree was delicious. My colleague expressed similar levels of satisfaction with their meals. The service we received was warm, friendly, and professional.
