Slow service. Very disorganized. We were getting a surprise cake cut for my mom but the server had brought out the cake knife and 10 dessert plates in advance which ruined the surprise…..would not recommend this place

The service and experience was fantastic and the food is always great! The restaurant was super busy for the holidays but our server made sure that we didn’t notice. 10/10 recommend

A friend and I had lunch at Baxter's Landing today, and it was overall a very good experience. They seemed a bit short of staff because they were quite busy, and it took a long time for our food order to be taken. The food, when it arrived, was really good! I had the fish tacos with jicama slaw, and my friend had the turkey burger and soup of the day. We both enjoyed our meals. The only issue aside from the wait to place our order was that my friend ordered a coffee, and it never arrived - even after the server came to our table a couple of times and appeared to remember at one point, so we expected to see the coffee before we got our bill. The coffee was on the bill, but was promptly removed once we noted that it hadn't arrived.

Baxter's Landing is a true gem, offering a serene and inviting atmosphere. The spacious, clean interior provides a peaceful setting for relaxed dining. The menu features delicious, well-portioned dishes made with high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices. We recently celebrated Christmas brunch here and had a wonderful experience. Despite the holiday rush, our server, Chris, was exceptional. His professionalism and kindness added to the overall positive experience. Whether you're looking for a quiet lunch or a special occasion dinner, Baxter's Landing is a reliable choice for a memorable meal.

They were under staffed, which delayed our order, food, and of course service went downhill because of it. We were just there and had a totally different experience. They of course were kind to the kids, and food tasted great nonetheless. They were also running out of wine… not sure why.
