Bavaro’s opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida.

A company committed to the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza, Bavaro’s stays true to tradition by using hand-crafted, wood-fired brick ovens designed by third-generation Neapolitan craftsmen, a 100-year-old yeast culture, 100-year-old Neapolitan recipes, and top-of-the-line ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

From a restaurant in downtown Tampa that seats 50 guests, to a global brand with a standard of quality that resonates around the world, Bavaro’s has since built 3 additional locations and continues to commit itself to the high-quality, welcoming experience that guests all around the country have grown to love.

Food, service, and place were great, but the noise (voices) was too loud. Will go back for the food and service. Will try outside eating.

Great Italian restaurant in downtown Tampa. Fantastic dishes, the Herloom carrots are fantastic and my wife's tagliatelle pasta was one of the best pastas I have tasted. Pumpkin spice Tiramisu was fantastic to close our meal. Will definitely be back!

Food is fantastic and service was really good. It’s 100% my fault for selecting outdoor seating, but we were at 1 of the 2 tables without a heater and it was colder and windier than expected. The other issue was the hostesses allowed someone off the street to come up to the outdoor tables trying to sell us stuff while we were eating. It appeared the person asked the host for permission before he started approaching tables.

First time here and it was fantastic. Maria was our server and she was the best. Everything was delicious. We got the margarita and the wild fungai pizza as well as the caprese and a lemon pasta dish. We can’t wait to go back!
