Bavaro’s opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida.

A company committed to the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza, Bavaro’s stays true to tradition by using hand-crafted, wood-fired brick ovens designed by third-generation Neapolitan craftsmen, a 100-year-old yeast culture, 100-year-old Neapolitan recipes, and top-of-the-line ingredients sourced directly from Italy.

From a restaurant in downtown Tampa that seats 50 guests, to a global brand with a standard of quality that resonates around the world, Bavaro’s has since built 3 additional locations and continues to commit itself to the high-quality, welcoming experience that guests all around the country have grown to love.

Best ravioli I’ve ever had! Had a reservation for 2 and got seated at the bar tabletop area which was perfect had just enough space away from others so it didn’t feel crowded, we had the sweetest server and she was very attentive. I had the ravioli and my boyfriend had the penne vodka and they were amazing! I will be back soon!

This was our first time at your original location. We were attending a show at the Tampa Theater and Bavaros was certainly conveniently located. Our salad, pizza and beverages were all as wonderful as we had hoped for. We needed to change the number in our party and did so through messaging. Then, as we were stuck in traffic for over 2 hours coming from Sarasota, I messaged the restaurant again. I not only received a return message saying that we would be late, but was told to drive safely! Definitely visit any of the Bavaros locations as you wont be disappointed!

Excellent pizza with many choices. Very reasonable and within walking distance of Straz for pre-show dining. The four of us enjoyed our dinner and didn’t feel rushed. Very busy pre-shows, so be sure to reserve. We’ll definitely be back. Oh, and yes, you can get excellent pizza in Florida- we’re from NJ where we believe we have the best pizza and this was excellent. The pizza crust was amazing!

Don’t eat outside. The neighbor restaurant plays loud music. So loud, it’s hard to carry on a conversation.

Food was really good and came hot to the table. The service was moderate. The servers didn’t acknowledge us until we stopped one of them. Waited 15 minutes just for a cup of water. We ended ordering ordering everything together since we didn’t know when she would come back.

Will be back. Made a reservation via open table. Split a half verde salad delish . I had Americano pizza, very good. About 10-12 inch.. Stuffed myself with half. Spouse had salmon and broccolini. He rated it good. Liked atmosphere. Very loud in the restaurant. We will be back. Service by Kendall spot on.
