Established in 2011, Barrio Queen combines authentic service with traditional Mexican flavors to create an immersive and satisfying dining experience. This spot was named one of the "Best New Restaurants in America" by Esquire and features a unique take on tacos, burritos, tortas and other regional favorites. In addition to popular lunch and dinner items, there are numerous breakfast creations available any time of day. Barrio Queen also has a special menu with healthier dishes such as grilled fish tacos, chile relleno with vegetables and its exclusive Skinny Chola margarita.Barrio Queen features a bustling indoor dining area, as well as an outdoor patio outfitted with torch heaters for cooler evenings. The interior space is bright and has colorful artwork with an eye-catching Day of the Dead theme. The food is consistent, even tho the chain has been sold. Corporate, I assume? it does not change my opinion of the place and especially the food . Minor point, the chips could be better as the salsa is a 10.

My wife and I love this location! Marco was out server and he was fantastic! Food was delicious and the Barrio Paloma is a must try! We can't wait to go back!

Food is always top notch. Second time on patio and not enough servers. They appeared to have only two servers for the entire restaurant today at Old Town Scottsdale location

I haven't been there in years but fond memories brought me back. It has gone down hill. My carnitas was dry and tasteless, the "signature" margarita was bland. My guest's mole was sweet. Not going back.

Very good guacamole. Hit or miss margaritas. Excellent salsa and chips. Understaffed and the clean up is so late that the birds have a big feast outside while you're dining.
