Nice patio. The music was a bit too loud outside for our tastes though. The music volume inside would have been perfect for us, however. Food was good, but not outstanding.

The ambience is really nice. The interior is modern and sleek. There is an exterior patio with a lovely modern fire pit and heaters. The cocktails are inventive and well-made. The food is excellent. We both had salads and cheesecake and really enjoyed them. Our server was not the greatest, but the bartender, host, and other staff were very helpful so it didn't impact our service time, and food arrived fresh.

Great location if going to Symphony Hall or nearby attractions. Burger was great! Chicken caprese sandwich was ok just very bland. A splash of balsamic would have really helped bring out the flavor. Menu not too big. Drinks list good. Would go again but try something different.

People might not realize it, but this restaurant replaced the old Networks at the downtown Hyatt. It is a wonderful reimagining. The new Barrel & Bush Restaurant is bright and bustling. Good variety of food and drink. The presentation is very good and the food was fine. But it was very loud, crowded and slow. The location is perfect for access to sports & entertainment downtown. But be sure to make reservations in advance and allow plenty of time before your event.

The food was of high quality, well cooked, and uncomplicated. The tables were crowded together and it was hard to get in or out. The service is still in training. We called several times the day before and the day of to get information about food allergies, but they never answered and only called us back an hour before the reservation. The wait staff were rushed, they got the substitution wrong, they disappeared for long periods, they forgot our drink order, they over billed two meals by $15 each, and they ran the credit cards for the wrong bill.

We will follow up with the service team about the poor service you received with dining with us. We do know we have some issues to resolve and are working diligently to do so. We were downtown for the theatre which is about 4 blocks away. The restaurant was very accommodative of our group of 11. Had a great burger and everybody seemed to enjoy the food.

I took my sister here for dinner for her birthday. We had the maple salmon and it was the most delicious salmon I have ever had. The service was incredible. From the moment we walked in until we left the staff was courteous, friendly and very professional. I never felt rushed by the staff. Thank you for a great evening!
