Barney's is a restaurant serving elevated American cuisine in a "country style" Inn. Everything about the experience at Barney's is designed to reflect refined dining, from the beautiful plating to the attentive and helpful staff.
Barney's menu is a fusion of new American cuisine and classic French cuisine. All of the produce used in the kitchen is procured from local vendors, The filet mignon has been voted the best on Long Island by local publications. The signature"Famous" Long Island Duck has also become a local favorite. The large selection of seafood along with our fresh seasonal salads and weekly specials will not disappoint.

Our dining areas consist of the Hearth Room (dining room w/fireplace), Bar and Parlour which can also be reserved for private parties. We also offer outdoor dining and a have special areas for private dining. Anything from small intimate weddings to baby showers and any other special occasions. Barn holds up to 45 and the outdoor patio up to 60.

This is my second time going here because of its charming ambiance. I wanted to give it a second chance. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food is just OK—nothing to go out of your way for, even if it was less expensive.

Went for the prime rib dinner special. Went early only two tables were occupied. The staff was attentive. The crab cake appetizer was very good, you only get one. Next was the prime rib. We ordered them done medium. Next time I’ll try med rare. It was good, came with two sides. We had the chocolate cake for dessert, it was decadent. I’ll go back again.

Delicious food, a well-curated drinks menu, wonderful ambience, excellent service, and a great price point for the twice-weekly prix fixe menu. Have been coming here since 1998, and a terrific experience every time. Many thanks!!

I love this restaurant. Upscale service and food is delicious. Atmosphere is New England and a nice change from loud new restaurants

Nice little restaurant, good food. Great service, the moment we walked we were greeted by the hostess, we were a little early for our reservation, she sat us at the bar and made sure we were good.. Definitely top notch anniversary dinner

the experience was great,ambience perfect,service outstanding,atmosphere was wonderful.The food was just ok ,the rack of lamb was very fatty,the prime rib sliced too thin and the delicious bread was served after we had our salad.
