Bardea, pronounced: bar-DAY-ah, is the Italian term for "the goddess of food and drink." The stunning, 120-seat restaurant utilizes ingredients from local Delaware Valley farms and purveyors, and features modern interpretations of traditional Italian and Mediterranean dishes. In 2019, Bardea Food & Drink received a semifinalist nomination in the James Beard Foundation's "Best New Restaurant" category.

    I’ve eaten here several times and the food is always delicious and innovative. The servers are always professional and we never have to wait long to be served. The restaurant is small and they pack a lot of people in there, so it is loud. However, the environment is lively and has a NYC vibe to it. Fun place to celebrate an event.

    Overall a great meal with some dishes that were really good and satisfying, but with some flaws. Service staff was very nice. Would have liked a bit better timed coursing on our shared plates. They brought everything out at once so some of our food had cooled by the time we got to it.

    Food was very good including taste and unique presentation. Service was good (not great). One disappointment was Bardea was out of crab tacos at 6pm Saturday night. No fault of wait service but poor food planning. My date was very much looking forward for this dish. You missed on this one Bardea.

    Bardea is my favorite restaurant. I love how they explain the ingredients and how the chef cooks the food. Everything is always delicious, even the drinks. I always receive the best customer service which is another reason I always come back.

    Food, drinks and service were all very Excellent. Everything was prepared and executed perfectly that we tried. But it is very cramped, tables are right on top on of each other, waitstaff have no choice but to brush by you in certain areas. It was also very loud (it was quite busy, but I’ve been to plenty of places that aren’t very loud when busy) you had to all but yell to hear the other people at your table. And the lights are kept very dim during dinner service. We could see fine, but every person in there over 50 had their phones out with the flashlight on waving it around to see their menu like they were at a Neil Diamond concert or something, so be ready for that. Granted, we went on a Friday evening. We would definitely go back, however probably only on a slower night like a Tuesday. We love the food, beverages and service, but it was way too cramped and loud, especially for an expensive place, on the weekend. If you don’t mind those things, you’ll love it anytime you go.
