The neighbourhood Italian restaurant you’ve always dreamed of, Bar Prima features a luxurious atmosphere that evokes a sense of timelessness and nostalgia. The restaurant design captures an old-school charm with dimly lit ambiance, creating an elevated and elegant atmosphere. From Italian disco inspired music to vintage design touches, Chefs Craig Harding and Julian D’Ippolito have curated a space that feels as though it’s been there forever.

Bar Prima can at times feel opulent with its banquets and table lamps but can also feel relaxed and romantic. We seek to share our passion for food, beverage and hospitality, creativity and design with our open-minded guests!

                                                            Service was some of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the food is incredible. Don’t miss the crostata di mela so delicious!

                                                            Absolutely phenomenal experience at Bar Prima. There are many restaurants that become popular but very few that actually live up to the hype, and Bar Prima definitely exceeded our expectations! We especially loved the ambiance and service. We tried 1 item from each category as per our servers recommendations and the standouts were definitely the Scallops & Ossobucco! We also tried the lobster pasta which we enjoyed it had a nice kick to it. We decided to order 2 desserts, Tiramisu & Millefoglie and the Millefoglie was our favourite! We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes off the menu! Perfect spot for a date night or girls night

                                                            Quite possibly the best restaurant I’ve ever tried in North America. The gnocchi and lobster pasta are so fresh, and I’m not even the biggest lobster fan. Service was impeccable. They didn’t rush you or make you feel like you were limited on time, everything from drinks to dinner to dessert was suggested by our waiter and we couldn’t have loved it more. In a city filled with so many food establishments doing the same thing thank you for holding the standard!

                                                            Fantastic choice for a special date night or occasion. All the food we had was delicious, especially the potato pave and pastas. Service was excellent and it was a great atmosphere.

                                                            If you're looking for a delicious, upscale dinner, you have to eat here. Bar Prima did not disappoint! 10/10 would recommend, and try the octopus it is cooked to perfection.

                                                            We loved it! What a fresh and nice experience. The bartender did a great job guiding us through the menu. The cocktails were amazing, service was amazing, from the host to the bartender You're doing an amazing job, were coming back

                                                            Food was excellent. Service was very good, but not quite to the level expected for a restaurant at the top level. Very attentive and enthusiastic, yet did not provide much information about preparation of the food. Noise level too loud for our liking with tables too closely together (people had to move chairs for us to get in and out of our table.

                                                            Ossobuco and Rockerfeller scallops were over cooked but the flavour was great. Our pasta dishes came out lukewarm 👎🏻 Highlight of our meal was the agnolotti doppio
