Bar Lino ristorante brings familial recipes from Itri, Italy to Johnston, RI. Restauranteurs, Joe and Esther DeQuattro, originally opened Pane e Vino Providence, Massimo Providence, Massimo Legacy Place, and Crow's Nest in Warwick.
Bar Lino is the perfect local restaurant serving Italian classics while featuring live entertainment, Espresso Martini Monday's, Happy Hour at the Bar from 4PM-6PM Monday-Friday and other great specials.
Signature dishes include Pappardelle alla Bolognese, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana.

Food was incredible and the service was impeccable. Caesar salad was delicious with just the right amount of dressing. I had the ragu which was just perfection, and my husband enjoyed the chicken parm. I had a taste and it was astounding. Got a pizza to go for our daughter and it was absolutely delicious (snagged a slice) Had never been before, but I’ll be back!

We had lunch at Bar' Lino. The food was fantastic. However, the bartender also waited the table. Therefore, he was juggling the bar and tables. The manager/owner should have had another assist with waiting the tables.

Christmas Eve tradition continues with the Feast of the Seven Fishes at Bar’Lino in Johnston. It was the perfect venue for Richard and I to bring my mother to so that she could take part in this sacred Italian tradition; and enjoy it she did!! The easy in and out of the location proved super easy for her and the decor was upscale sophistication. The food was plentiful and tastefully prepared. Their version of the seven fishes began with a dish that consisted of-baccala salad, snail salad, calamari and the most tasty smelts ever. The next dish was the perfectly al dente spaghetti and clams. The last course was broiled cod, baked stuffed shrimp and broccoli rabe. We were so full that we did not have room for desert at that moment. However, for those who have been to Pane E Vino, you know how delectable their bread pudding is; so we did get three orders to take home🤗. It was a special evening being able to share this tradition with my mother as I have for the past 67 years❤️.

This is the second time we ate here. We were not impressed the first time, but, I wanted to give them another try. Unfortunately, our experience was not great. My sister ordered a salad before her meal. The waiter asked if she wanted the salad first or with the meal. She said she wanted it first. The server then said he would bring it out with everyone’s meal, then bring her meal 10 minutes after that, which didn’t make sense to me. It should have been brought before everyone else’s meal, like an appetizer. My sister sat there without her meal for at least 20 minutes while everyone else was almost done eating, then her food was brought. It was embarrassing since I was the one who took them here for dinner. They did offer a free drink for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.
