Bar Lino ristorante brings familial recipes from Itri, Italy to Johnston, RI. Restauranteurs, Joe and Esther DeQuattro, originally opened Pane e Vino Providence, Massimo Providence, Massimo Legacy Place, and Crow's Nest in Warwick.
Bar Lino is the perfect local restaurant serving Italian classics while featuring live entertainment, Espresso Martini Monday's, Happy Hour at the Bar from 4PM-6PM Monday-Friday and other great specials.
Signature dishes include Pappardelle alla Bolognese, the Point Judith Calamari en Padella, and the Bucatini al' Amatriciana.

We had the lasagna (excellent and filling; good value) and chicken piccata. The potatoes were excellent. The green beans were a little oversalted. The focaccia bread was excellent.

Envy was a fantastic server and made sure we were taken care of with whatever we needed. Hopefully he is who we get the next time we go back.

First time there and it was very good. Calamari, eggplant parmesan and penne pino vodka with chicken was great. Looking forward to trying their pizza next tine.

Greeted, promptly and genuinely. Excellent staff of servers all the way through. The manager was present and very much a part of the team. Overall excellent restaurant to visit. The food was delicious, Hot and well presented. The definite date night go to

Our bartender, JR, was OUTSTANDING. He's made for bigger and better things than tending bar, but he seems to be very happy doing what he's doing, so we hope he's around for a while. He managed a full bar of at least 15 guests, perhaps more than 20, plus the restaurant diners' needs, and did it with a big smile, very friendly manner, and didn't miss a beat in our service. Seemed like at any given time he was doing two or three things at once — chatting with customers, taking orders, clearing, serving, making drinks, washing glasses and shakers, boxing up take-home, etc. But he did it all with a smile and super positive attitude. Bar'Lino really should have two bartenders working a bar that large, but at least the one they have was more than capable of handling it. Outside of the great service, we enjoyed our meals — really like the Bar Bites menu, especially the meatball sliders and pizzette. Paired with a salad, it was the perfect dinner for me.

Had a nice lunch with 7 other ladies. The waiter was great. Very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. They had an extensive menu of gluten free choices which was great for me. I am sure we will go back.

Don’t order chicken saltimbocca it was horrible-a chicken breast with no flavor. Eggplant and soup were fantastic!

This was our first time at this restaurant. My wife and I both tried different lunch specials. The soup and salads offered were very good. My wife's half sandwich was excellent and my half pizza was very large for half size!! All the food was delicious. The fresh bread and olives were also very very good. Lastly our server was excellent. We will be back for lunch and more than likely dinner.
