Named after the patron saint of hospitality, St. Julian the Hospitaller, Bar Julian evokes the warm welcoming spirit of its patron saint.

Join us for daily Sunset Happy Hour, Live Music Tuesdays, Vinyl Fridays and DJ Saturdays.

Walk-ins are always welcome and encouraged for lunch and brunch. Reservations are not accepted during evening hours.

Beautiful space. Food was excellent. Service literally disappeared several times though (as in, ALL of them left the space entirely including the bartender), even though the bar was mostly empty with just 4 or 5 tables occupied. That was disappointing and unprofessional.

Great food! I love sitting up on the roof. You can see the most beautiful parts of Savannah. The service is good but they did get busy. But my food was amazing.

Bar Julian is so beautiful witj amazing views and excellent friendly service. The food wasn’t quite up to our previous visits. Salads were not really special and shrimp and grits needs work, but it is a fun place and we enjoyed our brunch there.

We had afternoon drinks and appetizers here on a weekday (2:45), in the last days of July. It was super hot so we sat inside. We had the Mezze platter. I had a specialty drink that I do not see on their website menu, but it had a little glass of lemon juice that came with it that when you poured it in, it turned the drink purple. Very cutesy. The views were GREAT! And the CAT trolley runs there- which we took back home.

We didn’t get to eat here because Bar Julian was closed. We did not know they would be closed and had made a reservation a week or two in advance. They knew they would be closed but we were still able to make the reservation. I wasted my time and money getting a Lyft to get to the hotel but just got a lackluster apology from the manager.

The restaurant is well appointed and has a beautiful view of Savannah. The food was good but nothing was outstanding. Service was not great; we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food (mainly pizza and salad). The manager did discount some of our entrees to compensate for the wait.

the food was amazing! the drinks were really great! the service was kinda awkward and I think it’s because it was super dead inside. overall a solid 4/5!
