Bar Crispin is an all-day restaurant & wine bar on Kingly Street, Soho, designed by Jermain Gallagher. Offering low intervention wines & seasonal sharing plates, it is a place for any occasion.

Our chefs are lead by Fabien Spagnolo (ex Frenchie, Pollen St Social, The Corner Room & Casa Fofo), with a wealth of experience he respects each ingredient, allowing us to celebrate great local producers & creating memorable experiences. The menu is broadly European inspired, focussing on locally & sustainably sourced ingredients from independent growers, small-scale farms & producers (think crispy polenta, croquettes, organic British vegetables, sustainable seafood, classic cuts).

Food and wine was lovely. Service was not good however. They take ages to take your order and then confront you every 5 minutes to tell you how much of your reservation you have left and that you "need to get a move on". Such a shame as food was so nice, but the service was a massive let down

The wine selection is great, the food is very tasty especially the polenta, beef tartare, and chilly prawns. Fully recommend for an elevated cozy date night!

Went with a friend and the staff was fantastic. Especially one waiter/chef called Benjamin, bless him he was only 18 but he really delivered and made us feel welcome. There was one server called Rufus though, think I went to school with him?!

Was okay. Venue is small and the tall chairs are a little awkward, but staff were friendly and music was good. The food was nice but nothing special. We tried everything bar the beef ribs and cabbage. Portions are v small for the price. Much better restaurants around offering the same small plates & wine vibe, so sadly wouldn’t return.

Bar Crispin: January Comfort with a Side of Elegance A quiet Tuesday lunch in January might not scream excitement, but Bar Crispin knows how to turn a grey day into a little slice of joy. Tucked away and effortlessly chic, this spot delivers every time—food, service, and a vibe that makes you want to linger. The crispy polenta with aioli and Parmesan is a must-order. Think golden, crunchy perfection paired with creamy indulgence. The black pepper butter cabbage was a revelation—simple, yet so flavourful you’ll wonder why you don’t eat cabbage like this every day. We also went for the Hartgrove coppa—silky, rich, and the perfect nibble to go alongside their expertly crafted margarita. The burrata with roasted pumpkin and pickled red onions balanced earthy, creamy, and tangy notes beautifully. And just when we thought we were done, the fried choux pastry with burnt honey caramel arrived, a dreamy end to a fantastic meal. Service was lovely, as always—attentive but unfussy. Whether you’re popping in for a quick drink (their cocktails are excellent) or settling in for a feast, you’ll leave feeling a little brighter. Don’t let January keep you in—treat yourself, order the polenta, and toast to a bit of fun-ary.
