This hip and trendy restaurant and lounge is set in a meticulously restored 19th century colonial Sugar-mill with an enormous terrace with an amazing view of Simpson Bay. Award winning Sushi and Steak with Sushi chefs hailing from Nobu, Morimoto, and Makodo. Hot kitchen features aged steaks and fresh fish. Lots of appetizers including our famous Duck Nachos and Dumplings. Great for large groups and parties. Our in house DJ drives the vibe, inspiring nightly sunsets from high atop Diamond Mountain.
Bamboo's Sushi rolls are legendary, having won best sushi for 20 consecutive years. Serving late night fares and amazing true craft cocktails at our Bamboo Bar, starting at 5pm for sunsets until late into the night.
Every Thursday is Gatsby Night. The Band starts at 8:00 The Regular menu is in effect. There is a $7.00 per person music charge added to everyone's bill. Guitar player Don Solay is playing on Sunday Night.

No estaba buena la comida el arroz era un puré , no es la comida de Bambo de la última vez. La mesonera muy atenta pero estaba un poco perdida. El lugar espectacular pero la comida no estaba acorde con el precio. El sushi muy malo. Somos clientes de Bambo hace 10 años y antes se comía muy bien. Cambiaron el chef ?

This place would be wonderful of management spent some time training the staff hiring more staff and not having guest weight very long for drinks and having other guests over the shoulders trying to get their drinks while people are eating just need a retraining. I would say this is a management thing above anything else if they got it right this could be one of the top places in Sint Maarten

The valet parking was mandatory, unless you want to park a distance away to be bussed to the restaurant and back. We were not given this option from the outset via email or otherwise. The gentleman who parked our car was nice, although he did ask for a tip immediately upon arrival at the restaurant. We arrived about 45 minutes early and were told to wait in the "lounge". We came back to be seated about 5 minutes before our reservation and was told that the seat was given away because the reservation deleted our reservation upon check-in. We were then seated at a quickly made-up table which was fine by itself. It provided a nice view , overlooking the brightly-lit "lounge" and full view of the airport and the surrounding area. Service was slow. We ordered one chicken satay appetizer which sadly was lacking in taste. The stir-fried udon chicken dish was unique. The use of something citrusy made it not Chinese, Japanese, and certainly not Thai. Still, it was delicious to eat. The beef bibimbap was their own take on the Korean dish. One of the chefs came to stir the sauce into the rice dish at the table. This makes for an interesting presentation, but totally unnecessary. To the chef's credit, he was able to pour just enough sauce to meet the level of heat and umami. The dish itself was tasty, but what little beef in it were tough! The whole dish could very well be a clay-pot RICE dish with a few garnishes of beef and greens. All in all, it was a disappointing experience.

Wonderful ambiance - great service (Giselle?), and delicious food and wine choices. Enjoyed the duck nachos appetizer, rib of lamb special, while hubby cleared his plate of the Bibimbap. Fantastic atmosphere and great views of the bay. A live DJ later at 8 kept the bass at a good level so that we felt it but were still able to talk at our tables. Happy for the recommendation we got to try out this local dining legend. Well worth the $$$

Raphael was our server! Very personal gave good recommendations. The sushi was amazing and the cocktails were good. I would definitely come back!

The ambiance of the Bamboo House is unique and fun! Views are great. Outdoor seating. Variety of the menu is wonderful. Sushi was creative and fresh.

Bamboo House never disappoints! We love dining here for special occasions and bringing visiting friends and family. Great atmosphere, great food and service!
