   Visiting for the first time, we met friends from out of town at this cafe. Food choices were varied, the interior pleasant, the linen tablecloths a nice touch compared to others. The food was plentiful, steamy hot and the wait staff initially accommodating. ••• HOWEVER... once we had finished our meal, you could tell the staff was READY to turn the tables and move us on out of the cafe. In fact, we actually wanted dessert but had to get up from the table and chase down the server for their short menu of desserts. No asking if we wanted coffee or another glass of wine. √ Once the wait staff determined it was TIME FOR US TO LEAVE..... Make no mistake about it... the water glasses were removed from the table.... which made it VERY CLEAR... it was time to leave. ••• Now... I do understand that flipping tables is important to the bottom line...but this was a casual Sunday, a late afternoon reservation and we were one of five other tables with more than ample room and empty tables inside and out.

   We sat inside at a nice table by the window. Fresh bread was excellent, wine was nice. I had the Caprese salad, my husband Wedge salad, both were excellent. We shared the Lobster Ravioli.! Yum! ✨✨✨✨✨

   Nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. There were a number of tables with a group of 6 or more. Diane, hostess and waiter, did an outstanding job of making everyone feel cared for. She moved quickly between groups and tables for 2. Food was very good, large portions and decent prices. Highly recommend!

   Sand dabs were quite good but would have been even better if the capers were more flavorful, the sauce more lemon juice and a bit less breading on the fish. The Tiramisu was tasty but did not include the usual Italian liquor-marsala, I think. We will go back. Overall, it was a really good dining experience with excellent service and a lovely dining room.

   We arrived and the maitre d didn’t look up from his iPad to greet us. 100% empty indoors, patio was mostly full. Not a good sign for a Friday night. We shared one pasta dish and one entree. The eggplant Parmesan was lukewarm and watery; we wondered if was previous frozen and thawed🤣 Our entree, veal scallopini was inedible. It was tepid, the sauce was clumpy and the veal was thick and tough. The presentation was poorly plated. When the maitre d asked about our meal, I told him, not very good. He said he would let the chef know and offered dessert. I am not usually a dessert eater, but we were hungry and concluded that dessert was the best part of the meal. The veal was taken off the bill and the dessert was comped. All in all, a dissatisfying meal.

   The menu offers good choices for food and wine. This was the first time eating there. It looked like a locals hangout. Two out of the four of us thought the food was mediocre and the presentation was nothing special. Probably need to try it again before being too negative.

    Having visited once before we were looking forward to our return visit. Online booking process easy and convenient via Open Table (even able change time online) Warm rustic bread with butter or oil/vinegar were served with our drinks. We both chose Tomato and Basil soup to start and it was excellent. One of us had chicken Marsala for main course which was very good , the other had lobster ravioli which was a sufficient amount for someone with a smallish appetite - a self declared small appetite. Both courses were hot and served in a timely manner. We each had a portion of Tiramisu to go which was carefully packed for us. Plentiful parking directly outside restaurant. Staff very welcoming throughout and we will return.
