Bacari GDL is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 3rd restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Alongside our delicious tapas, we offer a rotating curation of small-production wines and eclectic beers, unique craft cocktails & mocktails, and we are also known for our one-of-a-kind 90-minute open bar special.

Our team provides warm hospitality in our comfortable, intimate indoor lounge by the bar or in our spacious, breezy outdoor patio. You will feel like home when dining at Bacari GDL.

We welcome but do not require reservations — we love to accommodate walk-ins and large parties, even on busy nights. Bacari GDL is the go-to spot for our neighbors, and we look forward to hosting you soon!

I have dined at other Bacari restaurants, however, this location in Glendale at the Americana was the worst experience I've had. It's bad enough that the majority of the seating is outside right next to the street with exhaust spewing cars while you eat, but also your food has to travel across a very public and busy sidewalk. The service was subpar; we asked for a glass of ice 3 times that took at least 10-15 minutes to get, then our young waiter did not know what Kahlua was (for Kahlua, Bailey's and coffee) and told us you did not serve it. But he took the order anyway after we had to spell it for him. The dishes came out very very slow (the first one and second one was at least 20 minutes apart) and we ended up cancelling an item because we were almost finished with all the others. We were given the excuse that your kitchen was backed up, which is not acceptable because it's Sunday at 5-6 o'clock - you should expect the large number and be prepared for it. I love Bacari - just not this location.

If you chose to sit outside be prepared for loud motorists revving engines and loud cars driving up and down Brand Blvd. without any enforcement in site.

First time at a Bacari restaurant and really enjoyed the experience. The food was great, wait team staff was great. Our reservation was just after happy hour ended so the noise level was high. Hard to hear at times. But despite that, it didn’t affect our total enjoyment of our evening. Great time and great food! And almost forgot one if the tastiest chocolate martinis ever.

I love Bacari! One of my favorite kitchens and one of my favorite areas ❤️ always enjoy the brunch menu on the weekends. That French toast is simply heaven in your mouth!

There isn’t an item on the menu that isn’t tasty. It’s constantly consistent in every Bacari location. The service is always great. We love and we hope it never goes corporate.

Food / drinks were great as always. Only taking the time to leave this review because our server. Service was fantastic and we felt incredibly taken care of. 10/10 experience.

Absolutely love this place. I’ve been here multiple times now and each time has been better than the other. Good portions for small plates and everything was well thought through.
